ANNOUNCEMENT

**Registration fee for Turkish Physical Society 28th International Physics Conference which will be held between,6- 9 September 2011 at Bodrum-Turkey has been specified as 25 Euros for BSc students and MSc - PhD students who are not working as a research assistant.**

 

Turkish Physical Society 28th International Physics Conference will be held between, 6- 9 September 2011 at Bodrum-Turkey. It will be jointly supported by Bodrum District Authority, Bodrum Municipality, Istanbul University, Sabancı University, Harran University, Aksaray University, Bitlis Eren University, Çankaya University, Hakkari University, Işık University, Istanbul Arel University, Mustafa Kemal University and Rize University. Aim of congress is to bring national physicists together and with international participation, to increase scientific communication with world physicists. This year awards of Turkish Physical Society will be given September 6, 2011 at the opening ceremony of the Turkish Physical Society 28th International Physics Congress.   

AWARDS OF TURKISH PHYSICAL SOCIETY IN 2011

1- TURKISH PHYSICAL SOCIETY HONOR AWARD will be given every year starting from 2008, to one of the respected physicist who had given valuable scientific researches and support many young students from our country. For this award only executive committees of Turkish Physical Society Headquarter, Ankara, Istanbul and Izmir Branches and Head of Physic Department of all Universities in Turkey will nominate a candidate. To the winner a plaquette and an award certificate will be given by Turkish Physical Society Headquarter.

2- TURKISH PHYSICAL SOCIETY PROF. DR. ENGIN ARIK SCIENTIST AWARD will be given every year with a prize of 2000 USD, will be presented, by her  family, in the name of Prof. Dr. Engin ARIK will be awarded to physicists, Turkish Physical Society members, with an outstanding educational and research record and more than 35 years old.

3- TURKISH PHYSICAL SOCIETY PROF. DR. ŞEVKET ERK YOUNG SCIENTIST AWARD will be given every year with a prize of 1000 USD, will be presented, by her  family, in the name of PROF. DR. ŞEVKET ERK will be awarded to young physicists, Turkish Physical Society members, with an outstanding educational and research record and  under 35 years old. In a respectful manner with an equal treatment to all members, Turkish Physical Society will continue  to  achieve befitting scientific congress to our country’s  scientists in a quality of  as in the  international congress with an executive mentality concept of democratic and secular Turkish Republic by supports of you.
